Video Shows Gunmen Opening Fire at Actor Tiger Shroff
What happened
Gunmen opened fire at Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai’s Juhu suburb on Sunday evening, but police said he was not injured.
The shooting happened as Shroff’s car was leaving a football club, and video published by several outlets shows at least two gunmen firing at its front passenger seat, the BBC reported.
Two people were injured: Shroff’s driver, Firdaus, who suffered a hand injury and is out of danger, and auto-rickshaw driver Chauhan, who is receiving treatment, Mumbai Police said.
Mumbai Police formed multiple investigation teams and carried out a preliminary forensic analysis, DCP Mohit Kumar Garg said.
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang allegedly claimed responsibility through Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu, but Mumbai Police has not confirmed the gang’s involvement.
