Trump backs AI industry self-regulation after agreement with major U.S. tech companies
U.S. President Donald Trump said technology companies should largely regulate their own artificial intelligence systems after meeting executives from several major AI companies Tuesday. Trump and the executives signed an agreement calling on companies to take responsibility for developing AI safely
