U.S. President Donald Trump's summit with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, was more about pageantry than policy, says analyst Michael Kovrig. Nevertheless, he says that in cozying up to Xi, Trump is undermining the U.S.'s own interests, and potentially those of Canada.
