Portuguese economy grows at twice the rate of the Eurozone
In the second quarter of 2026 the Portuguese economy registered a growth of 2.5% compared to the previous year, which was twice the rate of expansion in the Eurozone and thus led to an upward revision of the annual Gross Domestic Product (GDP) forecast to 2.3%.
