Memory shortage deepens, extending boom for Korean chipmakers
Micron Technology expects the global memory shortage to worsen through 2028, with more than 75 percent of its planned fiscal 2027 output already committed to customers, adding weight to expectations that the current memory boom could run longer for Samsung Electronics and SK hynix.
