Non-cash payments at an all-time high in Latvia
The proportion of cashless payments in Latvia has reached a record high. In August this year, cashless payments accounted for 81 per cent of transactions, while cash payments made up 19 per cent, according to the latest – autumn 2026 – edition of the Bank of Latvia’s ‘Payment Radar’.
