Iraq says it got US exemption for Iranian flights to and from holy city
The United States has allowed certain Iranian airlines to operate flights to Iraq’s holy city of Najaf, excluding Mahan Air, under a sanctions exemption. This agreement permits up to 40 daily flights, amid US efforts to curb Iran’s economy.
