Pro-presidential party in Kazakhstan won 71% of votes in weekend election, electoral commission says
ALMATY, Aug 24 - Adilet, a newly-formed pro-government party in Kazakhstan, has won just over 71% of the vote in a parliamentary election held on Sunday, the electoral commission said on Monday, in a result likely to consolidate President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's power.
