Berlin Marathon winner Tigst Assefa 'completely destroyed' her Achilles chasing world record
Tigst Assefa, while aiming to reclaim the marathon world record, ruptured her Achilles tendon during the Berlin Marathon. She finished just 68 seconds behind the record and will be in recovery for several months after surgery.
